Gota has always been north Ahmedabad's promising locality that never quite broke through. The perception was: good price, but too far from SG Highway and the "real" Ahmedabad. Location case for Gota: Gandhinagar is 20 minutes by Sarkhej-Gandhinagar Highway. For government and public sector workers (a massive employment base in this region), Gota is actually a superior location to SG Highway-centric projects. The district courts, government secretariat, and GIFT City back office operations are all accessible. Infrastructure in Gota has improved significantly. Naranpura-Gota Road widening has helped. The upcoming metro extension (the Motera-Gym Khana corridor) will eventually connect this area better. Product: Goyal My Home Gota is a mid-segment project, not premium. Tiles are Kajaria, fittings are decent local brands, lobby is functional. For 4500-5000 per sqft, you're getting a correctly delivered apartment, not a luxury experience. Who should buy: government sector employees based in Gandhinagar / north Ahmedabad, families looking for affordable space without the SG Highway premium, or investors targeting the rental demand from Gandhinagar office belt. Don't buy if you want SG Highway lifestyle access or a premium address. This is honest value, not prestige.
