Booked a 3BHK in Aparna HillPark last October and I want to share a detailed account because this project gets mixed word-of-mouth which I think is partly unfair.
First, the location context: Gajuwaka is about 18 km from Vizag city centre. That sounds far until you factor in the NH-216 upgrade which has made this stretch genuinely manageable — about 30 minutes without traffic. The industrial port area proximity means the local economy around Gajuwaka is active, not a dormant suburb. Steel plant, port-related activity, and growing commercial development all support the area.
Aparna Constructions is a reputed Hyderabad-based developer with significant delivery history across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Their projects in Hyderabad — Aparna Sarovar, Aparna HillPark in Nallagandla — have consistently strong reviews. They don't oversell and they don't disappear post-possession. For a Vizag buyer who may be evaluating a developer from outside the city, Aparna's national reputation provides a credibility floor.
The project itself is genuinely planned around the topography. The hill views from upper floors — floors 10 and above — are real. I visited at sunrise and I understood why they named it HillPark. The greenery in that direction is preserved land which means the view is unlikely to be blocked by future construction.
Construction quality at site visit: no hollow tiling, plastering is done properly, electrical conduits are embedded correctly. These are things many buyers don't check but they matter for long-term maintenance. Aparna typically uses branded raw materials and that shows in the finish.
Pricing at ₹48-95 lakh depending on configuration is competitive for a branded developer project with this view and amenities. Water supply uses a combination of VUDA connection and borewell — confirm current status before booking as VUDA supply in Gajuwaka area has historically been intermittent.

The hill view point is very valid — I visited the Aparna site and the east-facing upper floors genuinely frame the Kailasa Hills. What you described about preserved land behind the project is confirmed by the VUDA master plan I checked. That hill land is earmarked as green belt. Long-term view safety is a real plus.

Gajuwaka property values have moved up 25-30% in three years driven by port expansion and the steel plant modernisation. Anyone who bought here in 2021-22 is sitting on solid appreciation. For buyers entering now, the growth story has more legs given the Vizag Metro proposed alignment through this corridor.

My cousin completed possession in Aparna HillPark Phase 1 about a year ago. His feedback: actual possession happened within 2 months of promised date, construction quality matched the sample flat, and the RWA was formed properly before handover. That last point matters more than people realise — a functioning RWA from day one sets the maintenance tone for years.
